Parking on the Stanford University Campus
Please be sure to observe all posted signs.
The closest parking lots to the Paul Brest Hall are Parking Structure 6 and the Tresidder Lot. Both about a 5‐7 minute walk to Stanford Law School. For driving directions to either lot, click here.
Parking permit machines are located at both lots. You may purchase up to 8 hours of parking at any machine ($12.00 maximum/day). The machines accept Visa or MasterCard, bills, or coins; if you do not use your credit card, please bring cash in smaller denominations because these machines do not issue change.
Parking Structure 6: Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm.
Parking Structure 6 is a “pay by space #” parking lot. Remember your parking space # for payment — a Pay by Space parking receipt need not be displayed. The Pay by Space receipt is NOT valid in any other Visitor Pay Parking location.
Tresidder Parking Lots: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm.
Tresidder Parking Lot is a “pay and display” lot. The Visitor parking permit should be placed on the car dashboard with the expiration time and date facing up. A valid Pay & Display parking permit (properly displayed) may be used to park in any Visitor Pay & Display parking location, and at parking meters, but are NOT valid in Pay By Space # locations.
