Biography
Rod Thompson has more than 40 years of experience in high-stakes civil litigation and trials in technology cases. He currently serves as an arbitrator and mediator for JAMS in San Francisco. Before joining JAMS in September 2020, Rod was a commercial litigation partner with Pillsbury Madison & Sutro and Farella Braun + Martel LLP in San Francisco. Over the years, Mr. Thompson served as neutral arbitrator, mediator and early neutral evaluator as time permitted. He has served as arbitrator and mediator in both domestic and international cases. Rod brings the perspective of an experienced commercial trial lawyer/advocate to his role as neutral.
