It covers pre-filing considerations, pleading, selecting arbitrators and challenges, jurisdiction, how best to present a IP technology case in arbitration and mediation, international arbitration, post-award enforcement and challenges, and ethics. Leading Stanford Law academics, experienced IP litigators, and IP\/Tech ADR neutrals will join together to share their expertise. Practicum sessions will allow attendees to begin building skills during the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advanced IP\/Tech Mediation and Arbitration Course is a two-day comprehensive training in IP\/Tech ADR advocacy skills designed for experienced counsel. This course features lecture and interactive segments. Two practical texts written by course faculty will be included with the course:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ADR Advocacy, Strategies, and Practices for Intellectual Property and Technology Cases, Second Edition (ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arbitrating Patent Disputes, A Practical Guide (ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CLE:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15 hours of California CLE will be offered, including 1 hour of legal ethics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon satisfactory completion, attendees will receive a Stanford University Certificate of Completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Planning
