Biography
Jennifer counsels clients operating in the healthcare industry on regulatory and transactional matters. Jennifer advises public and private clients, such as healthtech and digital health companies, healthcare provider organizations and health systems, medical device, therapeutics, diagnostics and other life sciences companies, on matters involving:
- Fraud and abuse counseling and compliance, e.g., Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Federal False Claims Act, Federal Stark law, Physician Payments Sunshine Act and state equivalents and related compliance program development and counseling
- Digital health, virtual care and teleprescribing laws and regulations
- State facility, labs/diagnostic, CLIA, pharmacy, health plans and other healthcare licensure and regulatory compliance
- Government healthcare program and commercial reimbursement compliance
- Integrated delivery and care management systems, including clinically integrated networks, value-based care models, care coordination / management arrangements, provider networks and other innovative care delivery systems
- Health data privacy and security matters and related compliance, e.g., Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other state data privacy laws
Jennifer is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association Health Law Section.
