Biography
Joe Geisman has more than 20 years of experience serving as in-house and outside counsel to manufacturers and distributors of consumer products, media companies, technology companies, and businesses operating in numerous other industries. He is General Counsel at Super73, Inc., an American lifestyle adventure brand known for developing electric vehicles and related technology and products that fuse motorcycle heritage with youth culture. Joe manages the legal function at Super73. He provides transactional support to the company on day-to-day legal and business matters, and works with stakeholders on initiatives related to product and technology development, manufacturing, logistics, licensing, sales and distribution. His responsibilities include advising Super73 on the protection, monetization and enforcement of intellectual property rights, counseling stakeholders on substantive intellectual property matters, managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio, and implementing dynamic content and brand enforcement strategies. As in house counsel, Joe has worked with some of the most well-known companies and brands in the world, serving as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Playboy (a lifestyle and media company that reaches a global audience through a diverse portfolio of consumer products, content, lifestyle, gaming and hospitality offerings) and Senior Vice President, Global Content and Intellectual Property Protection at MGM Studios (a leading entertainment company engaged in the development, production, distribution and acquisition of motion picture, television and multimedia content). Joe’s private practice experience includes serving as Of Counsel to Greenberg Traurig, LLP, having started his legal career as an Associate at Loeb & Loeb LLP.
