Biography
Salman Alam is Vice President, Legal at Western Digital, a leading provider of data storage and infrastructure solutions including the SanDisk and WD brand products. He is currently head counsel for the company’s semiconductor and consumer business unit serving 300M consumers worldwide, as well as product development across a company-wide product portfolio serving data center and enterprise customers. He has previously served in various legal leadership roles at Western Digital and at California-based startups in the mobile, online advertising, and e-commerce spaces. Prior to going in-house, Salman’s private practice focused on corporate and commercial transactions, advising emerging and established technology companies.
