Biography
Tom O’Brien is a technology attorney currently serving as Head of Industries Product Legal at Salesforce, where he leads a team providing global product legal counseling for Salesforce’s core B2B CRM services and the Salesforce Industries business unit. Tom‘s role involves overseeing and advising cross-functional teams leading regulatory compliance initiatives. Previously, Tom was General Counsel at Vlocity, a provider of industry-specific cloud and mobile enterprise SaaS software, acquired by Salesforce in 2020. Before that, Tom served as Deputy General Counsel at Glassdoor, where he helped lead regulatory compliance initiatives and scale the legal function during a period of hypergrowth. Tom received a JD/MBA from Columbia Law and Business Schools and a BA in English from Stanford.
