Biography
As Head of the Global Regulatory Legal group at SAP, Rachel leads a diverse team of attorneys navigating the intricate landscape of international compliance across SAP’s extensive global operations.
Since joining SAP in 2011, Rachel has advised in several critical areas including mergers and acquisitions, product counseling, and data protection. Her expertise in harmonizing regulatory requirements with business objectives has been instrumental in supporting SAP’s global operations while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
Prior to SAP, she honed her corporate legal skills at Simpson Thacher and brought her international perspective to the microfinance sector at Kiva Microfunds, where she helped navigate cross-border lending regulations.
Rachel brings particular insight to data sovereignty issues, cross-border compliance, and the evolving landscape of AI governance—areas of critical importance to today’s enterprise technology ecosystem.
Rachel holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Oklahoma and earned both her J.D. and LL.M in Comparative and International Law from Duke University School of Law.
