Biography
Christian Dowell is a legal and business strategist with more than two decades of experience advising leading media and technology companies. He currently serves as General Counsel, Secretary, and Head of Business Affairs at Stability AI, where he recently led the company to a landmark trial victory in the Getty v. Stability AI case in the United Kingdom.
Christian has previously served as Head of Product Legal at Twitter, working closely with Elon Musk through the platform’s transition to X Corp. He has also held senior legal roles at Meta, Quora, and Yahoo!. He began his legal career in private practice at Keats, McFarland & Wilson (now Kilpatrick Townsend) representing motion picture studios, recording artists, and emerging Internet companies.
Christian serves on the Board of Trustees of Southwestern University School of Law and has held board positions at The Trevor Project and the UCSF Alliance Health Project.
