Biography
Liv Watson is a global leader in digital statutory reporting, data interoperability, and open-source data ecosystems. A founding member of the XBRL International consortium, she has been instrumental in advancing machine-readable disclosures, developed sustainability reporting standards, and open digital reporting frameworks.
She currently leads efforts to develop a global open data interoperability framework to support green finance, sustainability reporting, and SME sustainability automation. Liv collaborates with financial centers, policymakers, and industry leaders to accelerate machine-readable sustainability data adoption.
A sought-after speaker, she has presented at COP, ClimateWeek London & NYC, WAIFC Summits, IFRS Conference, and European Commission forums. Her work with HBAR Foundation, Porticus, ClimateWorks, XBRL International, and the Western Balkans DSMDA continues to shape global strategies for digital statutory reporting, and AI-driven regulatory compliance.
