Biography
Anu is the Founder and Executive Director of the Carbon Removal Standards Initiative, where she is building transparent, open-source measurement and standards infrastructure to support a just, equitable, and accountable carbon removal industry at gigaton scale. A reformed electrochemist, Anu works at the intersection of technology, policy, equity, and justice to advance the carbon removal sector. Previously, she served as Entrepreneur in Residence and Deputy Director of Science and Innovation at Carbon180, leading efforts to identify scaling barriers and design equitable policies in collaboration with researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
