Biography
Susan Athey is Chief Economist of the U.S. DOJ Antitrust Division. Susan also is The Economics of Technology Professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Susan Athey’s research is in the areas of the economics of digitization, marketplace design, and the intersection of machine learning and econometrics. She has studied a range of application areas, including timber auctions, online advertising, the news media, and the application of technology for social impact.
