Caroline is currently CEO of Compute Software. Compute Software is an enterprise software company that is revolutionizing how businesses run in the cloud. Compute’s artificial intelligence and decision sciences-based software platform dynamically optimizes and automates cloud resource decisions for enterprises across all industries and verticals.

Caroline has rapidly grown enterprise software and consumer internet businesses on the scale of $25M to $3.5B in annual revenue. She was formerly Vice President and General Manager
of Software at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where she created a new business and platform for offering enterprise software solutions – DevOps, Cybersecurity, Big Data, and App
Development – to SMB, Mid-Market, and Large Enterprise customers. Caroline had strategy, P&L, and operational responsibilities, and she was focused on engaging customers and
partners through several new digital experiences, digital marketing, and specialized sales models to drive growth in net new customers and revenue.

Prior to HPE, Caroline held six years of product leadership roles at Yahoo!. Most notably, Caroline was Senior Director of Product Management for Yahoo! Search & E-Commerce
(Yahoo! Shopping, Travel, Autos, and Homes), where she launched consumer internet innovations that drove 500 million daily visits and $3.5 billion in revenue. Caroline was also responsible for a number of initiatives to deliver new consumer experiences, improve monetization in digital advertising, increase Search market share, and promote product selection and sales through partnerships.

Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2007, Caroline spent three years at IBM Global Services as a Senior Consultant in the Supply Chain and Customer Relationship Management practices focused on
providing supply chain, order management, customer service, and channel marketing solutions to clients in the high-tech, medical device, travel insurance, and retail industries.

Caroline is a Director of Morningstar (NASDAQ: MORN) and Rosetta Stone (NYSE: RST). She serves on the Audit and Nominating and Governance Committees for Morningstar, and on the Compensation Committee for Rosetta Stone. She is also an advisory board member of AdRoll, a late stage VC-backed adtech company based in San Francisco. She has been recognized as The National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology and Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

Caroline received a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, both from Stanford University. She speaks Mandarin Chinese conversationally and plays USTA 4.5 adult league tennis.
