Vice President, BlackRock
Peter is a Vice President in BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship group. As part of the Investment Stewardship team, Peter is responsible for the evaluation of governance at portfolio companies in the Technology, Telecomunications and Real Estate sectors, proxy voting, engagement with boards and management and assisting with policy development. Peter also specializes in shareholder activism and special situations across all sectors.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Peter worked at J.P. Morgan covering Technology, Media and Telecommunications companies. In that role, Peter worked to execute equity offerings, debt refinancing and M&A assignments across a range of clients with global operations. Prior to working at J.P. Morgan, Peter held legal, consulting and business development roles focused on financing and restructuring companies in various emerging markets.
Peter holds Series 7, 63 and 79 FINRA licenses and is a member of the New York Bar. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Peter earned an MBA from Yale University, a JD from the University of Michigan and a BA from Virginia Tech.
