Shannon Brayton
CMO & SVP of Communications, LinkedIn Corporation
Shannon Brayton has more than two decades of experience leading teams and shaping corporate narratives for some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive companies, including Yahoo!, eBay and LinkedIn. She joined LinkedIn in 2010 as its vice president of corporate communications, and in 2015, expanded her purview to chief marketing officer, overseeing all marketing activities at the company and was recently named as one of the world’s most influential CMOs by Forbes Magazine. Prior to joining LinkedIn, she was the senior director of corporate communications at OpenTable from 2008 to 2010, where she managed the company’s successful IPO. Before that, Shannon spent seven years at eBay, including two years based in Zurich, Switzerland, as the director of European communications, and later, as vice president of corporate communications. Shannon also worked at Yahoo! from 1998 to 2001 and at Intuit from 1994 to 1998. She resides in Burlingame, California with her husband and two young children.
