Global Practice Managing Partner, Heidrick & Struggles
Victoria Reese is a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and the Global Managing Partner of the Legal, Risk, Compliance and Government Affairs Practice. She is a member of the firm’s Global Management Committee and leads the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts globally. She served on and chaired the Global Partner Promotion Committee for over five years.
Victoria has over 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership services with a focus on governance and top legal talent in highly complex situations. Client companies include American Express, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, General Motors, CVS Caremark, Citigroup, United Airlines, and ARAMARK. In addition to large financial institutions and corporations, Victoria has worked extensively with hedge funds, other investment management companies and a wide range of community, non-for-profit and mission-related organizations.
Victoria frequently speaks at conferences and symposiums regarding diversity and governance and she has published articles on leadership trends, diversity and the attraction and retention of top talent.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Victoria worked for a boutique financial services recruitment firm focused on recruiting senior management in operational and marketing roles. Victoria also spent five years in various not for profit organizations.
Victoria earned a B.A. in Art History from Vassar College. She is the co-Chair of the Board of Directors at The Play Company in New York, a not-for-profit theater and is also on the Board of Komera, a leadership program for young girls in Rwanda.
