Jane Bargmann

Biography

Jane is a core member of Heidrick & Struggles’ CEO & Board and Private Capital practices, leads the Industrial practice globally, and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Over the last decade, she has recruited over 250 C-Suite and Board Directors to publicly-traded and private equity-backed companies and led numerous succession planning engagements across industries.

Jane brings 20 years of international experience in executive search and management consulting. As a Global Managing Partner, she leads Heidrick’s Industrial Practice and partners with Fortune 500 companies and leading financial sponsors on Chief Executive Officers and Board succession engagements. Jane brings deep and broad experience across industrial, often working at its intersections with technology, consumer and life science industries.

Jane previously worked in consulting as part of CRA International and Marakon’s Chemicals & Energy Practices. She led strategy, industrial development, and private equity due diligence engagements and lived in the Middle East for five years, primarily working in Saudi Arabia.

Originally from Boston, Jane completed her BSc. In Economics at The London School of Economics and MBA with Distinction at London Business School.

She has represented H&S as a delegate for Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit for the past three years and is a frequent speaker on the topic of Chief Executive Officer succession planning, Industry 4.0 and supply chain.
