Biography
Katina Dorton is an experienced international financial executive, public company corporate director and public company CFO. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutics, T Scan Therapeutics, Fulcrum Therapeutics and Sonoma Bio. She has held numerous board leadership positions, including Lead Independent Director, Governance Committee Chair, Audit Committee Chair and Compensation Committee Chair. Ms. Dorton has held CFO positions at several biotechnology companies, including Nodthera, Inc., Repare Therapeutics, AVROBIO, and Immatics GmbH. Previously, Ms. Dorton served as a Managing Director in investment banking for Morgan Stanley for more than 15 years where she had responsibility for running global businesses. She also practiced law as an M&A and securities attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell. Ms. Dorton is on the Board of the National Association of Corporate Directors RTP Chapter. She is an NACD Certified Director and Corporate Governance Fellow. She has received recognition for her board service as a 2020 NACD Directorship 100 nominee and was named as one of Women’s Inc 2019 Most Influential Corporate Directors.
Ms. Dorton holds her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, her M.B.A. from George Washington University, and her B.A. from Duke University.
