Biography
Nick Farnsworth is a Partner in Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe’s Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation practice. He advises companies on the responsible development and use of data and technology, guiding clients through U.S and international AI, privacy, security and data enablement requirements and strategies. He builds comprehensive data protection programs and risk management solutions for the development, use and acquisition of advanced technologies, including advertising technology (adtech), automated and connected vehicles and devices, biometric tools, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, he represents companies facing regulatory inquiries and government investigations concerning their data and technology practices.
Nick has obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional / United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Privacy Law Specialist (PLS) designations from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
