The application asks for your professional background, current and prior board service, and your reasons for attending.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Application reviewed.<\/strong> Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We aim to respond within <strong>5 business days<\/strong> of submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Register for the conference. <\/strong>Accepted applicants will receive a link to complete their registration. Payment is made by credit card (preferred), wire transfer, or ACH. Your rate is the current tuition rate available on the date payment is completed, and any discount code must be entered during registration (codes cannot be combined or applied afterward)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confirmation<\/strong>. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation with the agenda, venue details, and lodging information as those are finalized.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/share-na2.hsforms.com\/2exRghnW7TP29qFX_SHZ28Quqe03\">Submit your application<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Want to attend as a group?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boards often send more than one director, and in our experience, the program lands particularly well when colleagues attend together and can carry the discussion back to their own boardroom. <strong>We offer a group rate<\/strong> for organizations that send 3 or more individuals to the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have questions about any part of this process or if you plan to register a group, reach out to <a href=\"mailto:rockprograms@law.stanford.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rockprograms@law.stanford.edu<\/a> or call (650) 723-5905.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\" style=\"color:#a6192e\">Cost<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tuition for Directors&#8217; College is tiered by based on the dates below. Early application is encouraged, as the conference sells out every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$9,950 \u2014 alumni early access, through October 31, 2026 (extended)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$10,450 \u2014 early public rate, through January 20, 2027<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$10,950 \u2014 regular rate, through February 28, 2027<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$11,950 \u2014 late rate, through April 30, 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tuition includes<\/strong> all program sessions, course materials, and meals during the program. Travel and lodging are arranged and paid separately by each participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Payment.<\/strong> We accept payment by credit card, which is our preferred method and the fastest way to secure your rate, or by wire transfer or ACH. If your organization requires an invoice or needs to pay by wire or ACH, email  <a href=\"mailto:rockprograms@law.stanford.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rockprograms@law.stanford.edu<\/a> and we will send the necessary details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Discount codes.<\/strong> If you have been given a discount code, <strong>it must be applied at the time of registration<\/strong>. Codes cannot be applied retroactively to a completed registration, so please have yours on hand before you begin. Codes also cannot be combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cancellation.<\/strong> Cancellations on or before May 14, 2027 are refunded in full, less a $250 processing fee. After that date, a credit memo will be issued instead of a refund, valid toward a future Directors&#8217; College within two years of issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Substitution<\/strong>. Requests for a substitution must be made on or before May 31, 2027, for a qualified registrant to substitute at no cost. Send us the substitute\u2019s name, title, company, and email address, and we will transfer the registration.
