Biography
Jo Levy is a skilled trial lawyer and strategic counselor with over thirty years of law firm and in-house experience in a wide range of matters, including intellectual property (IP), artificial intelligence, antitrust, compliance, consumer litigation, and class actions. She has successfully litigated matters involving semiconductors, software and hardware patents, technology transactions, international business disputes, manufacturing, medical devices, product liability, marketing, commercial disputes, and aviation.
Before joining The Norton Law Firm, Jo held numerous senior positions at Intel Corporation, including Vice President, General Counsel of Asia Pacific & Japan; Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer; Vice President, Mobileye Governance& Legal Affairs; and Associate Director of Litigation. While living in Hong Kong, Jomanaged complex cross-border business, legal, compliance, and regulatorymatters. Before joining Intel, Jo was a litigation partner at Reed Smith.
Jo brings a practical, business-oriented approach to every matter, whetherserving as trusted advisor to the C-Suite and Board Directors, leading bet-the-company litigation, consulting on compliance program development,conducting investigations, or responding to government agencies. She is also anexperienced arbitrator and mediator. Jo believes that, in business, a fast, efficient,and private resolution can often be the preferred approach. She is a member ofthe American Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial Panel for IntellectualProperty and Technology, the AAA Consumer Panel, and the Silicon ValleyArbitration and Mediation Center. Jo has served as a court-appointed mediatorfor the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for over fifteen years.
