Steve Andersen

Biography

Steven K. Andersen is Division Vice President of the American Arbitration Association’s Mediation is responsible for the organization’s global mediation and dispute resolution offerings and former Vice President of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) where Steve directed the ICDR in Canada, Mexico, and the United States and was responsible for its cross-border arbitration and mediation in the region and for providing executive oversight of large cases. He is currently building out with ODR.com new mediation model for scaling mediation disputes globally. The U.S. State Department appointed him as a delegate member of the USMCA 31.22 (formerly NAFTA) Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Dispute Resolution, and he co-chairs its mediation subcommittee. Andersen received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the College of Humanities at the University of Utah, and a law degree from the University of San Diego.
