John Polansky

John Polansky is a student at Stanford Law School. He holds a PhD in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and has recently served as Assistant Professor at the Kyushu Institute of Technology, in its Laboratory of Spacecraft Environment Interaction Engineering; prior to that, he was adjunct faculty in mathematics at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.

John worked on the Stanford Non-Practicing Entity (NPE) Litigation Dataset, the first-ever publicly available database to track comprehensively the ways practicing, non-practicing, and patent assertion entities claim patent ownership rights in litigation; he is a co-author of the project report.
