Eugy Han
I am a 2nd year PhD student in Communication at Stanford University. I am currently advised by Professor Jeremy Bailenson at the Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL). I earned my B.S. in Cognitive Science from Brown University in 2020. During my undergrad, I was advised by Professor Bill Warren at the Virtual Environment Navigation Lab (VENLab).
My research interests are broadly about what cognitive processes (e.g., perception of self and social surroundings; making moral judgements) look like when people embody digital identities in virtual environments. I am curious about how these findings can help shape virtual cultures and laws.
My name is pronounced you-kyoung / oo-ghee.
