John Nader

Biography

John F. Nader is a seasoned technology lawyer and entrepreneur with two decades of experience spanning legal technology, artificial intelligence, data science, and ed-tech. He has established himself as a trusted voice at the intersection of law, innovation, and entrepreneurship, consistently demonstrating an ability to leverage nascent technology to deliver practical, impactful solutions.

In 2014, Nader co-founded Data Society, a data science and AI education technology company, which he bootstrapped from inception through its acquisition and integration this past year alongside World Summit AI and CDO Magazine as Data Society Group. As a key leader, including roles as Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Nader had overseen the company’s strategic growth, delivering practical data science training and AI-driven solutions to Fortune 500 enterprises and government agencies.

Before founding Data Society, Nader practiced litigation and antitrust law at Proskauer Rose LLP, a leading global law firm, where he developed extensive experience navigating complex legal disputes and regulatory frameworks. He later served as Corporate Counsel at Grifols, a multinational biotechnology corporation, advising on litigation, global corporate governance, compliance, and transactional matters. He previously represented consumer protection plaintiffs at the boutique firm Butler Reichline Skruzmane LLP, underscoring his experience across both corporate and consumer-side dispute resolution.

Throughout his career, Nader has consistently emphasized practical entrepreneurship, championing the rapid and meaningful integration of innovative technology within traditional industries, startups, and individual consumer applications. He is presently researching the application of AI in dispute resolution for public release in the coming months.

Nader holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, where he was an Equal Justice Fellow and member of the Center for Applied Legal Studies. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was honored as an Echols Scholar, and also studied international law at La Universidad de Las Americas in Quito, Ecuador.
