Biography
Josh leads product policy work at OpenAI and has previously held positions at Meta as head of electoral and emerging risk and at the Aspen Institute as director of AI and democracy, after service at the White House and as chief state elections counsel for North Carolina.
Josh enjoys strategic work that secures a democratic future. He studied politics at UCLA (B.A.) and George Washington University (M.P.S.), law at the University of North Carolina (J.D.) and Duke University (LL.M.), and public policy as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs.
