Biography
Jennifer Zanocco leads a legal team at Google supporting software platforms, including Chrome and Android, built for the company and its global partners. Her team focuses on patent portfolio management, ecosystem partner support, standards, outreach to foreign patent offices and strategic client counseling.
She began her career in pharmaceutical research before earning her law degree and starting practice as a patent prosecutor at a boutique IP firm in 2002. In 2010, she brought her technical background to Google, where she has counseled engineering teams across Infrastructure, Fiber, and Communications technology areas before taking on her current clients in the audio and video codec space.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, foraging, cooking, playing in the dirt (a.k.a., gardening with low rates of success), scuba diving and tending to her flock of backyard chickens.
