Biography
Sarah Winsberg is an assistant professor at Brooklyn Law School. Sarah studies the early U.S. history of private law and its place at the foundations of American capitalism. Sarah’s scholarship has appeared in the Notre Dame Law Review and in Legal Ethics, where her article received the Deborah Rhode Early Career Scholar Paper Prize. Sarah holds a J.D. and Ph.D. in American Legal History from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in history from Yale University. She clerked for Judge Anthony Scirica on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
