As supervising attorney for the Prison Law Clinic and an instructor for Community Legal Education Seminar “Street Law” and Negotiations, Millard Murphy is an educator who constantly strives to find new ways to awaken in his students an awareness of the importance of the subject matter.
In the Prison Law Clinic, Murphy supervises students as they work on topics related to prison conditions, capital punishment, treatment of mentally ill prisoners, standards for parole release, religious freedom, and issues related to women prisoners. The Prison Law Clinic has won several of its recent cases, and Murphy’s dedication to the Clinic and its students is apparent.
