Stephanie Campos-Bui

Stephanie Campos-Bui is a Clinical Supervising Attorney in the Policy Advocacy Clinic at Berkeley Law.
Campos-Bui has worked at Berkeley Law since she graduated in 2014. She served as a Public Interest Fellow at the East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) in its Education, Defense and Justice for Youth Practice where she held school-based legal clinics in Oakland and provided special education representation to youth at risk of dropping out of school and entering into the juvenile justice system. She subsequently worked in the Policy Advocacy Clinic where she supported ongoing local, state, and federal advocacy efforts.
During law school, Campos-Bui was a member of EBCLC for four semesters in its Health Practice and two semesters in its Policy Advocacy practice. During her time in Clinic, she co-authored a report entitled The Obamacare Opportunity, which described the ways in which California could capitalize on the implementation of health care reform and coordinate existing safety net and work support programs. She subsequently wrote a set of recommendations for consideration by state legislators and gave trainings on the implications of health care reform, particularly for low-income populations and individuals living with HIV/AIDs. Campos-Bui received the Brian M. Sax Prize for Excellence in Clinical Advocacy-Honorable Mention in 2014.
Campos-Bui graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in English and minor in Ethnic Studies. She is a member of the California bar.
