Check in at our registration tables in Crocker Garden to pick up your name badge (which you should wear throughout Orientation) before heading to the Dean’s Welcome. We will hand out Orientation packets after dinner on this day (to save you from having to carry it around all day).

Join Dean Martinez and your new classmates for a dinner welcoming you to Stanford Law School. Professor Lawrence C. Marshall will provide the keynote address, “Becoming a Lawyer in an Age of Cynicism.”

In what has become an SLS tradition, Associate Dean of Admissions Faye Deal will pass the ceremonial pineapple to Associate Dean for Student Affairs Jory Steele. We’ll also include some time before dinner for you to interact with and get to know your classmates.
