Biography
Ryan McKenney is the General Counsel of Compliance and Director of Government Relations at Quantinuum, a leading quantum computing company. Before Quantinuum, Ryan was an attorney in the Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation practice group of Orrick LLP in Washington DC where his practice focused on technology transactions and privacy and cybersecurity compliance. Prior to Orrick, Ryan was a litigator at Milbank LLP in New York. He is the co-founder and former Chair of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) Law Committee where he works on policy issues related to quantum technologies. He is an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School and Vanderbilt Law School, where he teaches a class on quantum technologies. He received his B.A. and J.D. from Vanderbilt University.
