The Rock Center Program for Journalists: A Primer in Corporate Governance brings together a small group of media fellows selected from leading writers, bloggers and podcasters in business and finance to gain a deeper understanding of corporate governance while learning from some of the most distinguished faculty in the country. The program examines topics in corporate governance that are relevant to current events or necessary for a nuanced understanding of governance principles. It also stimulates new story ideas and provides fellows with unfettered access to an exceptional lineup of Stanford faculty. In light of rapidly evolving events around COVID-19 and in compliance with directives issued by Stanford University and local health officials, this year's program will be converted to an interactive webinar. We will provide additional details about the webinar to all registered participants a few weeks before the event.
Past Rock Center Media Fellows include journalists from Agenda/Financial Times, American Banker, Associated Press, Barron’s, Bloomberg, Business Week, BuzzFeed, China Daily News, CNN Money, Dow Jones, The Economist, Financial Times, The Fiscal Times, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, FOX Business Network, Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, Marketplace, MarketWatch, NPR, New York Times, New York Post, Politico, ProPublica, Quartz, Slate, The Street, TIME Magazine, Thompson Reuters, Vox, USA Today, WNYC, Wall Street Journal and Yahoo Finance.
