The Rock Center Program for Journalists: A Primer in Corporate Governance brings together a small group of media fellows selected from leading writers, bloggers and podcasters in business and finance to gain a deeper understanding of corporate governance while learning from some of the most distinguished faculty in the country. The program examines topics in corporate governance that are relevant to current events or necessary for a nuanced understanding of governance principles. It also stimulates new story ideas and provides fellows with unfettered access to an exceptional lineup of Stanford faculty. Although this year's program will be virtual, sessions will be interactive and participants can engage on camera with faculty and with each other.
Past Rock Center Media Fellows include journalists from Agenda/Financial Times, Associated Press, Barron’s, Bloomberg, Business Week, BuzzFeed, CNN Money, Dow Jones, The Economist, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, FOX Business Network, Harvard Business Review, HuffPost, The Information, Marketplace, MarketWatch, NPR, New York Times, New York Post, Politico, ProPublica, Quartz, Slate, The Street, TIME Magazine, Thompson Reuters, Vox, USA Today, WNYC, Wall Street Journal and Yahoo Finance.
