Biography
Omar holds a Law Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He is coauthor of two books with former justice of Mexican Supreme Court José Ramón Cossío: Free speech in the Rulings of the Supreme Court and The Supreme Court during the Mexican Revolution.
He previously served as Senior law clerk at the Mexican Supreme Court. Most recently, he served as Director General of the office in charge of systematizing and publishing the jurisprudential precedents of the Federal Judiciary within the Supreme Court (Semanario Judicial de la Federación).
He teaches administrative law at ITAM, and constitutional law at El Colegio de México.
