Biography
Dan Levine is a Reuters correspondent based in San Francisco, working on short and long term investigative stories related to healthcare and Big Pharma. Previous projects have involved Tesla, corporate liability shields, court secrecy, immigration and the death penalty. His stories helped lead to multiple state laws protecting victims of violence, and his work on the lethal consequences of court secrecy prompted an invitation to testify before Congress and several top journalism honors. Before that he was a longtime legal reporter covering high profile cases, judicial administration and the U.S. Department of Justice. He grew up in Chicago.
