Olamide Abiose

Olamide is a current JD/PhD candidate in Neuroscience at Stanford University. She studies under Dr. Elizabeth Mormino and Dr. Leanne Williams, focusing on the neurobiological impacts of chronic and severe psychological stress, particularly in the context of Alzheimer’s disease. She is a member of the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Mind, Brain, Computation, and Technology student program, as well as the Diversifying Academia, Recruiting Excellence Fellowship Program. At Stanford Law, she served as a co-President of the Black Law Students Association, an Articles Editor for the Stanford Law Review, and a member of the Community Law Clinic. She spent her summers interning for the ACLU of Northern California, as well as for a Nigerian human rights NGO serving informal settlement residents. She received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
