Biography
As an immigrant with DACA status, Esperanza understands directly the economic and social struggles that underrepresented communities experience in the Bay Area and the United States in general. As a community organizer supporting immigrants detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Esperanza is committed to raising awareness about the harm that ICE detention centers inflict on individuals detained and their loved ones. Moreover, Esperanza is dedicated to uplifting the voices and organizing efforts of detained immigrants fighting for liberation and abolishing ICE.
