Sandra Kwak

Biography

Sandra is a climate justice entrepreneur and activist. She is founder and CEO of 10Power, a benefit corporation that develops renewable energy projects with communities who lack equitable access to electricity, currently working on microgrids for Tribal Energy Sovereignty with Honor the Earth, Winona La Duke’s organization. Sandra is an organizer with Extinction Rebellion, a global movement using Nonviolent Direct Action to stop systems collapse. She is a partner at ResilientMarkets, a consulting firm implementing Regenerative Design Principles to support organizations working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals, currently supporting the company Caremiles to plant 100 million trees by 2025. She is a board member at the Foundation for Climate Restoration. Sandra taught “Race, Activism and Climate Justice” at San Francisco State University and has been a guest lecturer at California College of the Arts (CCA) and Stanford. She has a Sustainable MBA from Presidio Graduate School. Sandra loves her baby Koru and enjoys cycling and creating harmonies for a future that is possible singing with The Seastars.
