Biography
Eliza Aspen is a writer, technologist, researcher, and activist from Utah, based in Queens, New York. Her work focuses on multidisciplinary and creative approaches to questions around belonging, identity, and citizenship. As a technologist, she researches the policy implications of automation and the internet, with a focus on safety and inclusion for marginalized groups. Her writing focuses on themes of labor, equity, and identity. She is currently a researcher on technology and inequality at Amnesty International, and previously directed the Cyber Program at the Middle East Institute.
