Shaking the Foundations is Stanford Law School’s annual public interest law conference for practitioners, students, and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our theme this year is Inside\/Outside Strategy, an approach to organizing and movement building that emphasizes learning from and coordination with resistance movements. We are inviting legal practitioners, policy advocates, and movement leaders to come speak about holistic organizing models and opportunities for creative collaboration between formal forces and grassroots collectives in order to advance social change. Our keynote speaker is lawyer, academic, and trans activist Dean Spade. The conference schedule will include panels focused on transnational advocacy, movement defense, and participatory organizing models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
