Hye Young Choi

Hye Young Choi is a 1.5-generation unDACAmented immigrant of Korean descent. She is a member of ASPIRE and has previously served as a student liaison and advocate for undocumented students at De Anza College and Migrant Rights Awareness at UC San Diego. Hye Young is currently working as an intern for The BRAVE Study at UCLA/UCSF to help assess the health status, health utilization patterns, and the effect of social policies on undocumented Asian/Pacific Islander and Latino young adults in California. She graduated from UCSD in 2017 with a B.A. in Global Health and B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
