Max Suchan

Max Suchan is a co-founder and the current Director of Operations of the Chicago Community Bond Fund, an organization dedicated to ending money bond and pretrial incarceration in Cook County, Illinois. Max is a prison abolitionist who works for a world without prisons or police. Max is also a criminal defense attorney and proud member of the National Lawyers Guild. Through this work Max defends local movement activists who are arrested at political actions for social, political, and economic change. He strives to use the law as a tool to support liberation movements that work to change the systemic injustice that is an intrinsic part of the United States’ legal system.
