Alex Macmillan

Alex is a labor organizer with the AFL-CIO and activist in Greensboro, North Carolina, and a contributor Socialist Worker newspaper.  He’s a member of the International Socialist Organization which has helped organize and mobilize against the far right across the country in addition to other movements nationwide. Alex helped lead a group of counterprotesters in standing against white supremacy at the Unite the Right march on August 11-12, 2017 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Alex will discuss what he witnessed at this march and share his insights into organizing work in the post-Trump era.
