Biography
Charles Davis is a Senior Corporate Counsel in IP Disputes at Amazon. His team is responsible for managing Amazon’s global disputes on patents, trademark, and copyright. Charles has a particular focus on developing litigation strategies for global SEP disputes. His team also works closely with Amazon’s public policy team on new initiatives in global IP enforcement.
Prior to joining Amazon, Charles was a senior associate at Goldstein & Russell LLP, a boutique firm focused on high stakes appellate and Supreme Court representation. While at Goldstein & Russell, he specialized in patent, copyright, and antitrust/competition disputes, along with disputes against the government. Before Goldstein & Russell, Charles clerked for Judge Karen Henderson at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, and Judge Kathleen O’Malley at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has an undergraduate degree and PhD from UNC Chapel Hill in Biochemistry, and received his JD from George Washington Law School.
