Cleo Condoravdi

Biography

Cleo Condoravdi is Professor of Linguistics at Stanford University. Her primary research interests are in formal and computational semantics and pragmatics. Her work investigates the mechanisms by which linguistic and extra-linguistic information is integrated to yield textual interpretation. She is also interested in using the analytical tools of semantics and pragmatics to inform theories of legal interpretation and in the implications of linguistic analysis for legal philosophy.
