Biography
Sarah Ruby has been a deputy public defender with the Office of the Public Defender in Santa Clara County since 2012. She previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thelton Henderson, a district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Before law school, Sarah worked as a reporter for several California newspapers, where she won awards for public service and investigative reporting. She currently manages the Public Defender’s intern and training programs.
