Kevin Frazier

Biography

Professor Kevin Frazier leads the AI Innovation and Law Program at the University of Texas School of Law and serves as a Senior Fellow at the Abundance Institute. His research focuses on the nexus of regulatory design, innovation policy, and constitutional law. Frazier has testified before Congress on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to undersea cables; he regularly advises state and federal policymakers on how to accelerate adoption of emerging technologies. Born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, Frazier is a graduate of the University of Oregon, UC Berkeley School of Law, and Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to joining the legal academy, he clerked for the Montana Supreme Court and conducted a research fellowship on AI.
