Associate Director, Research, in the Analytics and Machine Intelligence Group, Raytheon BBN
Dr. Brian Ulicny is Associate Director, Research, in the Analytics and Machine Intelligence Group at Raytheon BBN, a subsidiary of Raytheon which is celebrating its 75th anniversary of providing advanced technology research and development to U.S. government and other customers. Ulicny currently leads generative AI efforts for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. He has over 25 years of experience and innovation leadership, mostly in commercial settings. He has more than 50 publications and five patents. Ulicny was previously VP of Thomson Reuters Labs – Americas, where he led efforts to integrate AI and big data into legal and compliance technologies. He is a frequent speaker at technical conferences. Ulicny earned his doctorate at MIT in the Linguistics and Philosophy Department in 1993.
