AI Applications, Risks, and Oversight for Business

About: The question confronting today’s modern business is not whether to use artificial intelligence (AI), but where and how to use it effectively. AI has the capacity to disrupt a broad range of industries, revolutionize business functions, and provide a competitive advantage to early adopters. To remain ahead of the curve, boards and business leaders must understand how AI systems work and how they can be deployed responsibly across different business verticals. They also must understand the myriad risks posed by this new technology, as well as the governance, accountability, and compliance frameworks that best allow them to oversee, monitor, and mitigate those risks. 

Stanford AI Symposium is designed to equip boards, business leaders, investors, and advisors with essential knowledge and insights into the world of AI. Through faculty lectures, interactive exercises, peer-to-peer exchanges, and networking opportunities, participants will deepen their understanding of how AI systems work, the benefits and business applications for AI, and best practices for managing and overseeing AI-related risks in a corporate setting.
