Amy Tovar

Amy Tovar serves as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for the San Francisco Giants. She handles a wide range of legal matters for the organization including business transactions, litigation, media rights, intellectual property, real estate, venue operations, and labor and employment. Prior to joining the Giants, Amy served in the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation and worked as a litigator at Munger, Tolles & Olson. After graduating from SLS, she clerked on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago for Judge Joel M. Flaum. She received her BA from Stanford University in Political Science and American Studies. She now serves on the Board of Directors for California ChangeLawyers and lives in Burlingame, CA with her husband, Ben (JD ’03), and children, Jack and Carolina.
